Space Shuttle Discovery’s crew awoke Monday to the jazz beat of Wynton Marsalis’ tune “One by One.” Mission Control played this song in honor of Mission Specialist Stephanie Wilson.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, the crew of Space Shuttle Discovery awoke to “What a Wonderful World” performed by Louis Armstrong.
Crewmembers from the International Space Station and Space Shuttle Discovery opened the Harmony module hatch for the first time Saturday. Expedition 16 Commander Peggy Whitson said, “We think Harmony is a good name for this module, because it represents the culmination of a lot of international partner work and will allow additional international partner modules to be added on.”
